The first activity, started after the Second World War by the Colaiacovo family was the production of tiles at Gubbio. In the ‘70s cement production developed that in a few decades permitted the company to become one of the leading companies in Italy.
Subsequently there was the development of the concrete activity and the most recent initiatives, amongst which those abroad with the cement factories in Tunisia and Santa Domingo that have determined the construction of one of the most important Italian industrial realities committed, amongst other sectors, also in the logistics and entertainment sectors.
The company’s tradition founded its industrial model on a profound connection with the territories in which the company operates and on a strong environmental sensitiveness by the use of the most advanced technologies to make each business development sustainable.
Constant process innovation, the attention to logistics, the recovery of mines and quarries are amongst the pivots of the social responsibility policy of the Group, constantly committed to sustain the best initiatives to the advantage of the local community.
